The Consultation
During consultation, you will have a discussion with the provider regarding your areas of concern and overall goals and desires for your body. They will take a detailed history and perform a physical exam looking at the areas you wish to address for improved muscle tone and fat loss. The consultation will allow for discussion on areas that will be treated and the number of treatment sessions that are likely needed to achieve results. Most people will require about 4 sessions that are 30 minutes in length and spaced 5-10 days apart, therefore treatment is usually completed in about 4 weeks.
The Day of Treatment
A treatment session with EMSZero Neo takes about 30 minutes. During this time, you will be comfortably positioned, usually laying down, so that the desired treatment area is exposed. The probes will be attached to the treatment areas with sensation of heat and muscle contraction occurring during the session.
EMSZero NEO is not painful and most people describe a sensation of muscle contraction or warmth as the only sensation during their treatment. There is no need for pretreatment with medication or any topical anesthetics during the procedure, as most tolerate without pain.
There is no recovery time after having a session with EMSZero Neo and you are able to go directly back to your normal daily routine, including work, home life, and exercise.
The Results
The full extent of results typically occurs 3 months after the last treatment session, however, depending on the individual’s body prior to treatment, some will notice results after the first couple of treatments or within the first month after treatment is completed. In order to maintain results for a long duration, it is advised to continue following a healthy diet and exercise program to maintain your weight and results.
